The Earth has its music for those who will heedfully Perceive. Join us to feel it at Nelliyampathy hills, a Geographical paradise located 60km from Palakkad. Standing 450m to 1500m above sea Level Nelliyampathy gives you breath taking views of valleys lying deep down in a 20mile stretch of velvet green. We’ll come across Pothundi dam during our trek. Nelliyampathy being home to endless lustful green tea and coffee plantations, our night stay(private dormitory & cottage rooms) here is amidst them. 2km hike planned goes through greenery of thick canopy hugged by beautiful streams. This hill is apart of reserved wild life sanctuary and it has abundance of wild life to encounter with. Indian gaur, wild gaur, leopard, porcupines, elephants are our co-inhabitants during night hours. Trekkers are advised not to roam alone without organizers knowledge. If we are lucky we ll witness them near our stays. Day rises with wonderful sounds of birds chirping, as this place provides shelter to 109 different species of birds. Dare to encounter venomous reptiles too which spotted in our last trek-King Cobra.
